Thai Yoga Massage School, Chiang Mai Thailand

Message From Hironori Ikeda
Director of Thai Healing Art School International Chiang Mai, Thailand

I established this intimate private school in 2007 with a strong passion to share the art of Thai Yoga Massage with people who want to continue to disseminate this art themselves. The aim of this school is not just teaching Thai Yoga Massage, but also trying to discover new knowledge about massage and our bodies, which will make contributions for, and bring greater health to, many people in society.

Since we have opened our school, we have had more than 250 graduates. We are proud that our students include people from all over the world, as well as people with different abilities. Some are very flexible, while others have mild physical disabilities. However, all students have been able to benefit from their practice of Thai Yoga Massage.

Teaching such a broad range of students has helped me to increase my teaching skills and Thai Yoga Massage because I have had to learn how to adapt different exercises and positions for different students. These experiences have enabled me to create new techniques, which I am now able to share with others. We are looking forward to sharing the healing arts with many more students in the future.

One aspect that has become very important in the way we teach Thai Yoga Massage at Thai Healing Art School is the practice of Balance Ball Yoga, which originated from Thai Yoga Massage and my own fitness background. After searching for new and more effective ways to teach massage, we discovered that Balance Ball Yoga is an excellent way to learn more about our Body Axis and Core, as well as improve our posture, massage techniques, and overall fitness and health.

In this Thai Healing Art School International, we practice as much as we can and share the art and knowledge of the universe through practice under the confidence of having a healthy and peaceful mind

Sincerely,
Hironori Ikeda, May 2008
